Young Men Charged in Mitch Boyce Murder Case Remanded to Barbados Prison Service

Two young men charged in connection with the murder of Mitch Boyce have been remanded to Barbados Prison Service. Additional charges include serious bodily harm and possession of firearms and ammunition. Scheduled court appearance on April 9, 2025.
Two young men charged in connection with the murder of Mitch Boyce on January 12th have been remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds).
Rushon Ramon Ricardo Gittens, 26, of Brownes Gap, Sargeants Village, Christ Church and Shamario McDonald Kirton, 20, of Vauxhall #2, Christ Church, appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court #2 on Saturday.
Aside from the murder charge, which is connected to an incident at Rubis Service Station, Kirtons, St. Philip, the two are accused of the following:
serious bodily harm of Kevin Greenidge endangering the life of Christina Morris endangering the life of Natisha Grazette endangering the life of Melissa Darlington endangering the life of Andre Bryan endangering the life of Nico Greenidge aggravated criminal damage violent disorder
Gittens was charged separately with the use of firearm to commit an indictable offence (9 counts) and possession of 12 rounds of ammunition.
The additional charges against Kirton are for use of firearm to commit an indictable offence (9 counts), possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm on February 27th, 2025, and possession of 17 rounds of ammunition on the same day while at Fordes Road, St. Michael.
Gittens and Kirton are scheduled to reappear in court on April 9, 2025.
