Man and Woman Identified in Fatal Highway 7 Accident in St. Michael

Police have identified Tammy Tonas Tammetha Bryant, 39, and Akeem Ricardo Hunte, 37, as the individuals who died in a Highway 7 accident in St Michael. Two other passengers sustained non life-threatening injuries.
Police have identified the man and woman who perished in an accident that occurred along Highway 7, Hastings Main Road, St Michael around 3:30 this morning.
They are Tammy Tonas Tammetha Bryant, 39, of Vaucluse Tenantry, Hanpond, St Thomas and Akeem Ricardo Hunte, 37, of St Judes, St George.
Bryant, Hunte and two others were travelling towards Bridgetown when their vehicle struck a wall next to the Soco Hotel and then a utility pole.
The two other passengers were taken to the QEH by ambulance. They both complained of back and shoulder injuries but an Emergency Medical Technician on the scene described those injuries as non life-threatening.
Investigations are continuing.
