Christ Church Men Remanded on 29 Charges Following Shooting Incidents

Christ Church men Roshawn Jaeir Kangal and Xenico O’Neil Moore face 29 charges, including possession of firearms and serious bodily harm, following shootings in Sheraton Centre and Silver Hill.
Two Christ Church men arrested for a shooting at Sheraton Centre followed by one in Silver Hill, Christ Church are behind bars, after being remanded to prison on a total of 29 charges between them.
Roshawn Jaeir Kangal, 19, of McCleans Gap, Silver Sands, and Xenico O’Neil Moore, 24, of Vauxhall appeared before Magistrate Deidre McKenna in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
They are jointly facing 19 charges: four counts of endangering the lives of Lamar Waithe, Oneil Campbell, Miguel Daniel, and Coby Noble; serious bodily harm of Andrea Bailey; three aggravated criminal damage charges; affray; two counts of possession of firearms; possession of 34 rounds of ammunition; unlawful use of firearm; use of a firearm to commit serious bodily harm; use of a firearm to commit the offence of endangering life; use of a firearm to commit aggravated criminal damage; use of a firearm to commit the offence of affray; and use of a firearm at Silver Sands and affray at Silver Sands – all on November 2.
Kangal is separately charged with eight other offences: possession of a firearm at Silver Sands and possession of 24 rounds of ammunition on November 2; endangering the life of Omari Chase at McCleans Gap, Silver Sands and use of a firearm on August 16; possession of a firearm; robbery and use of a firearm on September 28; and escaping legal custody on September 1.
Moore also has two separate charges of possession of a firearm at Silver Sands, Christ Church and possession of 24 rounds of ammunition.
The duo will reappear in three different courts during the course of the next few weeks. They will be at the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court next Monday, November 18, the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court the following day, and then return to the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on December 20. (BT)
