THE OISTINS MAGISTRATES’ COURT has been closed after a bedbug was found in a chair inside the court Wednesday morning.
Magistrate Deidre McKenna adjourned all of the court’s calender for the day, while police officers assigned to the court prohibited persons from entering the courtroom.
The clerk’s office, located within the same building at Oistins, Christ Church has also been affected and the staff was seen exiting the building just after 11 a.m. Wednesday, after a sign was placed on the door alerting visitors of the closure.
