Barbados Police Charge Two Christ Church Residents with Serious Offences

Barbados Police charge two Christ Church residents, Roshawn Jaeir Kangal and Xenico O’Neil Moore, with serious offences, including possession of firearms, endangering lives, and criminal damage. Court appearance set.
The Barbados Police Service has formally charged two Christ Church residents in connection with a series of serious offences.
The accused, 19-year-old Roshawn Jaeir Kangal of McCleans Gap, Silver Sands, and 24-year-old Xenico O’Neil Moore of Vauxhall, are facing numerous charges relating to incidents on 2 November 2024 at Sheraton Centre and other dates.
Kangal and Moore have been jointly charged with a range of serious offences, including:
Endangering the lives of Lamar Waithe, Oneil Campbell, Miguel Daniel, and Coby Noble Inflicting serious bodily harm to Andrea Bailey Multiple counts of aggravated criminal damage Affray Possession of firearms and 34 rounds of ammunition Unlawful use of firearms, including using a firearm to commit serious bodily harm, endanger life, commit aggravated criminal damage, and affray Separate charges relating to the use of a firearm at Silver Sands, Christ Church, on 2 November 2024, and affray at the same location
Roshawn Jaeir Kangal faces further charges, including:
Possession of a firearm and 24 rounds of ammunition at Silver Sands Endangering the life of Omari Chase on 16 August 2024 at McCleans Gap Use of a firearm in connection with the August incident Robbery on 28 September 2024 and the related use of a firearm Escaping legal custody on 1 September 2024
Xenico O’Neil Moore is also charged separately with:
Possession of a firearm and 24 rounds of ammunition at Silver Sands
Both Kangal and Moore are set to appear before Magistrate Deidre McKenna at the Oistins Magistrate’s Court today, Wednesday 13 November 2024. (TBPS)
