Richie Orlando Green Acquitted of Past Rape Allegation in No. 5 Supreme Court Decision

Richie Orlando Green acquitted of rape charges by No. 5 Supreme Court jury after two-hour deliberation. Justice Pamela Beckles declares him free to go. Prosecution led by Principal State Counsel Krystal Delaney.
Richie Orlando Green walked out of the No. 5 Supreme Court a free man on Friday afternoon after being found not guilty of raping a woman over six years ago.
The Diamond Corner, St Joseph resident had been accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a female without her consent on July 20, 2018.
The jury of six women and three men took around two hours to deliberate before reaching the not-guilty verdict.
Thanking the jury, Madam Justice Pamela Beckles told Green, who was represented by Senior Counsel Arthur Holder and attorney Brandi Browne, “You are free to go.”
Principal State Counsel Krystal Delaney prosecuted the matter.
