Gain crucial knowledge on climate change, weather, natural resource management, and emergency response, enabling better anticipation and mitigation of water-related risks and conservation of mangrove forests.
Experts on climate change, weather, natural resource management and emergency management are now better equipped to help anticipate, address, and respond to water-related risks as well as support the conservation of mangrove forests and management of the natural landscape. They gained crucial knowledge during a USAID-Servir Amazonia Mangrove and Hydrological Events Capacity Building Workshop Series. Today, participants received their certificates which they hold proudly here with Principal of the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology Dr David Farrell (left at front), Project Management Specialist (Resilience) at USAID Nikki Hassell (second from right at front), and Executive Assistant at SERVIR-Amazonia Alejandra Leiva (right).
