Schools Closed Tuesday Due to Hurricane Beryl - Ancillary Staff to Assist with Cleaning

Tuesday classes canceled due to Hurricane Beryl. Ancillary staff to clean schools. Ministry of Education conducts inspections for safety assessments and recommendations.

There will be no classes at schools on Tuesday.

However, all ancillary staff will be required to report to work to assist with cleaning schools following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

In a statement this evening, the Ministry of Education said that principals, management teams and Health and Safety Committees are continuing to conduct their walk-throughs at their respective schools.

“These inspections will help the school teams to make assessments of their school’s condition and will allow them to make recommendations so that the necessary solutions can be put in place,” it added
