Trinidad Carnival 2025: Guest Experience and Pricing Trends with Caesar’s Army

February 24, 2025
Patrons are paying more for Trinidad Carnival parties. Caesar’s Army aims to provide value for money with signature events like A.M. BEACH, A.M. BUSH, Bacchanal Army, and Road Block. CEO Jules Sobion discusses pricing strategies and market trends.
Patrons are paying more to party during Trinidad Carnival.
Caesar’s Army said they are doing their best to ensure that partygoers receive value for money when they attend their events.
Chief executive officer Jules Sobion gave that assessment as he spoke about the planning that went into their signature events A.M. BEACH, A.M. BUSH and their new concepts Bacchanal Army and Road Block.
“I believe that people are finding it very expensive to come to Trinidad and Tobago Carnival.
“I don’t know if it has impacted our international visitors attending, but even from a local perspective, it has gotten expensive.
“So watching how you price things and being more analytical have become more key. So, ideally, we have to be able to watch the market, and watch for any decline in visitors to make sure we are always on top and to see how the landscape is transforming,” Sobion said.
He made those comments to the Weekend Buzz recently in response to a question about how patrons have been responding to their offerings for the 2025 Carnival season.
“Everybody knows A.M. BEACH and A.M. BUSH and that’s great. Those are going very well for us because they are signature events.
“However, when you are doing new game-changing things, you have to provide as much information as possible because it’s never been heard of,” he said.
The A.M. BEACH premium all-inclusive beach festival is scheduled for Carnival Thursday on February 27, followed by the alternative jouvert A.M. BUSH on March 1.
On Carnival Monday the Romans are expected to take over Port of Spain during Bacchanal Army: Monday Mas Experience at One Road.
Bacchanal Army promises an unforgettable day, merging two days’ worth of high-energy fun into a single, unified road experience.
Bacchanal Army invites masqueraders to express themselves through personalised Monday-wear that takes their ideal road vibe from day into night for the Road Block after-party.
Sobion explained that previous Caesar’s Army events
Bacchanal Road, and the Carnival Rogue band which ended in 2024, inspired Bacchanal Army.
Caesar’s Army is a Caribbean-based event production and management company formed in 2006. Since then, they have hosted numerous events worldwide, including A.M. BUSH BIM in Barbados during Crop Over.
While the brand continues to put on quality events, they still have to work hard, especially during the upcoming Carnival last lap.
“Carnival week is really hectic so making sure your team is on the same spirit and mindset is important. Infrastructure is scarce and things are delayed because there are a lot of events taking place so you have to make sure your suppliers are on time and your resources are on point.
“This is a test. It’s a few days of handling the pressure but I believe the army is formidable and robust enough to undertake such a challenge,” he added. (TG)
