Barbados Reggae Weekend Kicks Off at National Botanical Gardens Tonight | Director Ryan Brathwaite Anticipates International Turnout

The inaugural Barbados Reggae Weekend at the National Botanical Gardens is set to kick off, drawing a strong response from locals and international attendees, with a diverse lineup and support from sponsors.
All systems are in place for the staging of the inaugural Barbados Reggae Weekend at the National Botanical Gardens from tonight.
Ryan Brathwaite, Director of the Barbados Reggae Weekend explained that the shows have generated an overwhelming response from Barbadians and persons as far as Africa.
“Bajans are locked onto the events. Not only those here but Barbadians living overseas as well. Similarly, persons from countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Greece, the UK and the USA have been purchasing tickets for all four events.
“People are enthusiastic about our line-up and the packages we are offering and we are ready to deliver. We must thank our sponsors for coming on board and supporting us with producing what will be the biggest reggae weekend that Barbados has ever seen,” he said.
