Neesha Woodz astounds fans at sold-out album launch with high-energy performance
May 7, 2024
Neesha Woodz's album launch for "Grace" was a sold-out, high-energy event with a mix of soca, reggae, and Afrobeats. Attendees praised the concert as phenomenal and top tier.
Gospel artiste Neesha Woodz’s album launch on Sunday night was pure “fyah”.
The sold-out concert, which ran for three and a half hours, was described as “phenomenal”, “awesome”, “fantastic” and “top tier” by some of the people who attended as they exited the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
From the start, the launch of Grace was high energy and continued to increase in intensity as it progressed. The fervent prayer offered by District Superintendent of the Wesleyan Holiness Church Reverend Virgil Parris should have been the indicator of what was to come.
Woodz is known for her uptempo music ministry in genres that include soca, reggae and Afrobeats and the songs on this album do not veer from that. The combination of lyrics and catchy beats reinforce her love for God and encourages listeners to be free to praise Him in all ways all the time. (DS)
