Barbados Water Authority Restores Operations at Desalination Plant, Residents in Various Districts May Experience Continued Impact

Ionics Freshwater Ltd. informs Barbados Water Authority of Desalination Plant operations resuming at full capacity. Residents in specified areas may still experience water system impacts until replenished. Tanker assistance available.
Today Thursday, September 19, 2024, Ionics Freshwater Ltd. has updated the Barbados
Water Authority (BWA) that operations have resumed at the Desalination Plant on the
Mighty Grynner Highway.
While the facility is functioning at maximum capacity once again, residents in the listed
areas may continue to be impacted until the water systems supplying their districts are
replenished.
In St. Michael
Cave Hill, Wanstead, Husbands Heights and surrounding areas.
In St. James
