Barbados Meteorological Services Monitoring Trough System Bringing Potentially Heavy Rainfall and Flash Flood Concerns

An ongoing trough will bring wet weather to the region. Expect rainfall of 1-2 inches, with flash flood watches issued if necessary.
A trough system is expected to continue generating wet conditions from tonight into the weekend.
The Barbados Meteorological Services is closely monitoring its progress.
Rainfall accumulations can range between one to two inches (25mm to 50mm) and flash flood watches or warnings may be issued at short notice. (PR/SAT)
