Approximately 100 new Justices of Peace were sworn in at State House, including notable figures like Natalie Abrahams, De Carla Applewaithe, and Carlitha Andrews. A total of 344 JPs will be sworn in this week.
It was a special day for approximately 100 new Justices of Peace on Monday when they were sworn in at State House this morning before President Dame Sandra Mason.
Notable new JPs are business executive Natalie Abrahams, event producer De Carla Applewaithe, and community activist Carlitha Andrews, who all expressed their gratitude for being chosen for this new responsibility.
They were the first batch of a total 344 who will be sworn in as JPs during the course of this week. (SB)
