Organisational improvements planned for Kensington Oval during T20 Cricket World Cup Super Eights. Changes to park and ride system, vendor relocation discussed by NOC chairman Noel Lynch. Barbados ready to host.
Organisational improvements will be made at every turn in and around Kensington Oval for the critical Super Eights segment of the T20 Cricket World Cup.
National Organising Committee (NOC) chairman Noel Lynch says there will be some amendments to the park and ride system, and the relocation of some vendors operating outside of Kensington Oval, who were complaining of modest sales.
Lynch told Weekend Sport that talks involving several stakeholders who met at Hilton Barbados on Tuesday for a post-mortem had gone well, noting that Barbados was more than ready to host next week’s Super Eights.
The former Cabinet minister was quick to defend the pitches at Kensington Oval.
