Richmond Depot Crew Initiates Removal of Temporary Drain Covers Along Princess Alice Highway and Harbour Road in The City

MTW crew in Richmond Depot removes temporary wooden drain covers on Princess Alice Highway and Harbour Road post-events. Lane closures expected, caution advised for pedestrians and motorists. Cooperation appreciated by MTW.

A crew from the Richmond Depot of the Ministry of Transport and Works

(MTW) has begun removing temporary wooden drain covers along Princess Alice

Highway and Harbour Road in The City.

The covers were installed as a safety precaution to conceal open drains for

the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup, and Crop Over’s Foreday Morning

Jam and Grand Kadooment.

While the road will not be closed, due to the nature of the work and the

equipment being used, one lane of the road may be partially closed and slight

delays should be expected.

Pedestrians and motorists are urged to proceed with care. MTW thanks the

road users for their understanding and cooperation.
