interCaribbean Airways Announces Delays on Select Routes Following Aircraft Collision at Grenada Airport

interCaribbean Airways informs customers of delays on specific routes due to a recent incident at Maurice Bishop International Airport. interCaribbean Airways says customers should expect delays after a vehicle collided with one of its aircraft parked on the tarmac at Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport on Sunday.
The airline said the aircraft involved has been taken out of service, and a replacement aircraft is being deployed from Providenciales to ensure continued service for passengers.
As a result of this incident, interCaribbean Airways said the following routes will experience delays:
Flight 716 Barbados – St Vincent, Sunday, December 10.
Flight 717 St Vincent – Barbados, Sunday, December 10.
Flight 732 Barbados – Antigua, Sunday, December 10.
Flight 733 St Kitts – Barbados, Sunday, December 10.
742 Barbados – St Lucia, Sunday, December 10.
743 St Lucia – Barbados, Sunday, December 10.
758 Barbados – Dominica, Sunday, December 10.
interCaribbean Airways says it has already notified passengers who are affected by these delays.
Additionally, the carrier said its team is working diligently to minimize the impact on customers’ travel plans and appreciates their patience and understanding during this time.
“Safety and reliability are our top priorities at interCaribbean Airways,” said Lynisa Gardiner, Director of Customer Experience at interCaribbean Airways.
“We are working closely with the authorities and the ground handling agency at Maurice Bishop International Airport to investigate this incident. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our passengers and thank them for their continued trust in our services.”

There were no injuries as a result of Sunday’s incident.
