May 16, 2024
Exercise Tradewinds 2024 training personnel, including divers and instructors from various countries, conducted multi-domain exercises in Barbados, focusing on cyber, special operations, and maritime components. The program concludes today.
FROM THE SKIES to the sea, the training personnel of Exercise Tradewinds 2024 have made their presence felt across Barbados.
After several days where the signature buzzing of their ‘US Black Hawk’ helicopters filled the air and drew the crowds on each sighting, the 2024 chapter of the programme will conclude today.
Through their time on the island, this multi-domain exercise has included training and simulations on cyber, Caribbean Task Force, ground special operations forces and maritime components.
Fifty-seven subject matter expert planners and instructors formed part of the Tradewinds Marine track. These included 17 divers from Canada, two instructors from the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy, one instructor from the US Army, four from the US Navy and 33 from the United States Coast Guard. (JRN)
