The park and ride system for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was successful despite initial challenges. Improvements in communication and signage are planned for upcoming matches, according to Transport Board's COO.
Despite some teething issues, the park and ride system put in place for the International Cricket Council Men’s T20 World Cup went well.
However, to prepare for the upcoming matches, chief operations officer of the Transport Board, Lynda Holder, said communication and signage would be improved.
“It worked well with some minor teething issues, which were corrected with improved communication such as which sites were opened and the price for the park and ride sites,” Holder said.
In response to queries from the Weekend Nation, Holder said their arrangement with the Transport Authority also helped with the system.
