Nimar Bolden Shines with Century as Wildey Dominates Pickwick in Barbados Cricket Elite Match

Nimar Bolden scores maiden elite century for Wildey against ESA Field Pickwick in Barbados Cricket Association competition. Wildey leads by 239 runs; UWI men fight back against Yorkshire.
Nimar Bolden recorded his maiden elite century as Wildey have their sights set on a maximum 20 points against ESA Field Pickwick after day two of the fifth series of games in the Barbados Cricket Association elite three-day competition.
Playing on their home ground SJPIT, Wildey came into the day with a first innings lead of 51 runs and Bolden on 36 not out. Bolden struck eight fours and four sixes in his knock of 119 after facing 148 balls. This is Bolden’s second consecutive century vs Pickwick as he scored 171 in the 50 over finals just 20 days earlier.
Wildey declared at 300 for six after 56 overs with a lead of 239 runs. Pickwick, in their turn at bat were led by opening batter Craig Holder as he scored 50 in 98 balls, they are currently at 112 for seven and still trail by 127 runs to make Wildey bat a second innings.
Jerome Jones and Jofra Archer have three wickets apiece.

The University of the West Indies (UWI) men are fighting back after trailing in the first innings by 51 runs to IGS Insurance Brokers Yorkshire.
After falling to four for two in the second over of their second innings, UWI managed to end the day on 147 for two in only 16 overs with Amari Goodridge, 77 in 45 balls, and Shaqkere Parris, 57 in 48 balls, giving UWI a major boost as they lead Yorkshire by 96 runs with eight wickets in hand after day two, both batters are unbeaten overnight.
Yorkshire began the day at 79 for one as Athelbert Brathwaite moved his score from 32 to 86, he tallied nine fours and two sixes while facing 97 balls, he was well supported by Indal Persaud who scored 79 in 91 balls with six fours and five sixes. Yorkshire claimed full batting points as they were bowled out for 305.
UWI’s Shaquan Cave showed his all-around effort after recording a first innings half century by taking five wickets for 74 runs. Leg spinner Javed Leacock took four for 89.
