Fusionz Boutique Spartan holds a commanding 211-run lead over Wildey in the Barbados Cricket Association Elite Division match, with standout performances from Jerome Jones and Damario Goodman.
Fusionz Boutique Spartan are 211 runs ahead and look in total control of their match-up against Wildey heading into day 3 of series 2 matches in the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) Elite Division three-day Championships.
Playing at Queens Park, Spartan resumed on their day 1 score of 157/6 and were able to push that total to 205 before being bowled out by Wildey. Jerome Jones was the main wicket taker as he picked up a 5/50 in 18 overs with his steady left arm spin.
Wildey’s batting lineup which included names like Zach McCaskie and Demetrius Richards never got going as they were bamboozled by the spin of Andre Marshall and Damario Goodman. Barbados batter Kevin Wickham looked in fine form as he batted to the end of the day’s play to push the Empire total 155/3. Currently on 65 not out, Wickham and his partner Kofi Hurdle (32 not out) will be looking to build on their 83-run partnership for the start of day 3.
