The Barbados squash team had a challenging first day at the 2024 Senior Pan American Squash Championships held in Lima, Peru. The team faced strong opponents, resulting in some promising performances and tough challenges.
Khamal Cumberbatch opened the day for Barbados with an intense match against Pedro Mometto from Brazil. Despite delivering a few impressive rallies, Cumberbatch could not secure a win and fell 3-0. Mometto’s consistent performance proved too strong for Cumberbatch on this occasion.
