Wanderers Secures Easy Victory Over BCA Youth in BCA Elite Division Match

Wanderers secure an easy victory over BCA Youth in the BCA Elite Division three-day Championships, with Captain Ian Boyce leading the charge with a six-wicket haul. Spartan also triumphs over Wildey.
Wanderers recorded an easy victory over the Signia Globe Financial Inc BCA Youth in the second series of the BCA Elite Division three-day Championships on Sunday.
Resuming the day needing one wicket for victory, Captain Ian Boyce was able to pick that up in the first over of the day’s play as he finished with a six wicket haul to add to his three wickets in the first innings.
The Youth were bowled out for 112 and lost the game by an innings and 104 runs.
Boyce finished with figures of 6/24 while Shomari Gittens top scored for the Youth with 33.

Fusionz Boutique Spartan earned an emphatic 89 run victory just before the end of play against Wildey.
Beginning the day on 94/3 with an overnight lead of 211, Spartan’s Akil Greenidge made his way to a half century as he scored 59. They declared their innings on 165/6.
Chasing 283 to win, Wildey’s Demetrius Richards and Craig St Hill built a solid 113 run partnership before St Hill was run out for 51, Richards pushed on to score 72, he was out caught by the wicket keeper with the score on 165/6.
With victory in sight and not much time remaining, Spartan applied the pressure and were able to remove the final 4 wickets as Wildey were bowled out for 194 just before close of play.
Andre Marshall was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/57.

Barbados batter Kevin Wickham scored a century as home team Empire got maximum batting points against E.S.A Field Pickwick.
Wickham batted patiently as he resumed the day on 65. He scored exactly 100 in 168 balls and was dismissed the very next ball after he brought up his century.
The game ended in a dull draw as Empire batted the entire day to score 333/7.
Joshua Haynes (57) and Shian Brathwaite (51) both scored half centuries for Empire.
